Experienced Team

Summit Development Group has been in business since 1996. It is a visionary partnership between Tim Fowler and Walter Ferriera. Tim and Walter together have over 39 years of experience in the construction industry. Walter has a vast knowledge in construction project management; Tim is experienced in outdoor construction and interior renovation and specialty trim. Tim and Walter are backed by an experienced team of licensed carpenters and cabinetmakers, plus an experienced architect.

Together this team has completed over 15 custom built homes and numerous major outdoor and indoor renovation projects. We have completed the trim and finish detail in some of the most complex and exquisite homes in the GTA, including all the custom trim and carpentry work in Mississauga’s most exclusive private residence.

Our team can handle all size of projects from small renovations through to the building of an entire home. We have experience in all aspects of the job, from design to excavation, framing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, drywall, trim and carpentry. We will even provide skilled framing services for the experienced
Do-it-yourself clients who want to complete their own project.

Tim and Walter began working together when they were both selected by Oakville’s then largest custom builder to work on a major project. They discovered that they shared a vision of creating a true custom building company that is dedicated to providing its clients with exactly what they want.

Summit truly caters to its clients needs, something that larger renovators and builders have forgotten how to do.

The Personal Touch
In 1996, Tim and Walter formed Summit Development Group and today it remains a relatively small and flexible company that pays special attention to its clients:

• We cater to all your needs (down to the finest detail), doing exactly what you want and not what is easiest for us;
• We pay attention to your everyday needs to ensure that any inconvenience to you or your families is kept to a minimum;
• We believe that renovation and construction work should be rewarding and not exhausting for you, our clients;
• We keep tight personal control over every aspect of the job to ensure efficiency, quality and timeliness;
• We manage only a few projects at any one time so that work flow is continuous and jobs are not left unattended for lengthy periods;
• We continuously keep job sites clean and clear of debris by picking up at the end of each business day;
• Either Tim or Walter is on-site most of the time, personally supervising and ensuring that Summit’s high standards are maintained at all times.
